New 3610 Fold from Nokia


Nokia has announced a new handset, the Nokia 3610 Fold. The new 3610 Fold doesn’t have any advanced features, it’s just an elegant-looking device that packs a range of basic features. But this is not a bad thing considering there are lots of consumers who don’t need advanced handsets. The quadband (GSM 850/900/1800/1900) handset comes with everything people need to stay in touch.

As its name suggests, the Nokia 3610 Fold mobile comes in a foldable, clamshell phone form factor, where emphasis is placed in ergonomics and what Nokia calls ‘understated elegance’. Nokia 3610 Fold has a 1.3 Megapixel camera with auto focus and 6X zoom. It has a 2 inch TFT internal display with support for 262K colors and a 240 x 320 pixels resolution, an external 1.36 inch screen with the same number of colors but only 128 x 160 pixels. The spacious keypad of the Nokia 3610 Fold makes for effortless typing of texts and messages and ensures excellent usability. Along with this, it has a Music player, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, Nokia Web Browser, email, voice command and voice recorder, embedded games, notes, calendar, alarm clock, stopwatch, To Do list. It comes with 30MB of internal memory and microSD/microSDHC card support for up to 4GB. The 1020 mAh Li-Ion battery that comes with the handset is said to provide up to four and a half hours of talk-time or up to 457 hours of stand-by time.
