Joining the likes of OLPC and Eee PC, the Hacao Classmate laptop is the new learning laptop that’s as economic as it is educational. The Classmate laptop will offer students customized Linux OS distribution, and it will feature a 900MHz Celeron CPU, 256MB RAM, 1GB of Flash, integrated WiFi and a seven-inch WVGA display. The Classmate laptop is shipping now in Vietnam, selling to schools for a price of $250.
