Motorola H720

Motorola H720 is a Bluetooth headset, which carries the flip boom design of H17, H15 and H710.It’s a black plastic body while the buttons and the boom mike are shiny silver in appearance. This headset is about 1.65 inches long and 1.06 inches wide with 0.79-inch thickness. There is an inset oval above the Motorola logo which performs as a multifunction button. One can find it easily and it’s very easy to handle as well. There is a tiny LED indicator on the button. The volume controls are available on either sides of the headset. On the top, the charger jack is available which is easy to open or close the boom mike. Therefore it is convenient to turn the headset on and off.

One can find a different earpiece by flipping the headset upside down. It is a flat plastic object with three speaker holes cut out from the protrusion. The earpiece can be inserted at the opening of the ear. There is a flexible ear hook with a rubber tip at the back of the headset that sits around the ear. It’s a glossy headset created with the latest technology. This headset helps in making phone calls a better experience and the external noise is well reduced. Another added advantage is echo cancellation, which is a big relief for people making distant calls.

Rapid Connect is another added feature with on and off flip which helps to answer and close calls quickly. This feature helps us to save battery. This headset is light weighted and so it’s easy to carry. There is an adjustable hook that rests against the ear and the talk time is up to eight hours.

One can speak from two different Bluetooth cell phones using the same headset. The LED colors will indicate the cell phone to which the person is connected with.

When the background volume gets higher, the headset volume will automatically get adjusted.

The call quality is good and the price is reasonable. The other usual features such as answering, ending and rejecting calls, redial and voice dial support are also provided. In addition to that one can transfer calls from the headset to the phone and vice versa.

With all these features, there are some drawbacks too. The callers find some inconveniences with this headset. Some callers find the earpiece with the hook to be slightly loose and have an illusion that it might slip off. While pairing the Motorola H720 with the Apple iPhone 3G, the quality of the call seems to be loud and clear. But it doesn’t sound great. A caller could hear the background noise with a little amount of echo. For instance, when a person travels by car, there are chances of getting distracted by the engine noise or any other external noise. It would certainly create a problem during unfavorable weather conditions or crowded environments.

To conclude, the building of this headset is a great effort with its own specialties.

There are some drawbacks that could have been avoided. Yet, it is a great handset symbolizing the advantages of latest technology. more

If you are connected with a network and if any PC in the network attacked with Win32.Kido virus, sometimes your Kaspersky Internet security notifies you this message, “Intrusion.Win.NETAPI.buffer-overflow.exploit! Attacker IP address: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx. Protocol/service: TCP on local port 445.” and access to that computer is blocked.

The name of this virus is “Net-Worm.Win32.Kido” virus. When a PC attacked with this virus, it tries to access other PCs through network at port 445.

Methods of disinfection:

To remove this virus from the attacked PC, just follow the following steps:

* Download and install the patch from Microsoft that covers the vulnerability

To start with you will need 2 pictures.

I chose a picture of a hot rod and a person

To remove the person from the background,

Using the pen tool draw a loose path around the window.

Now switch to the "add anchor point" path tool
Drag the anchor points into place.
To add a curve: Click once on the midway point between 2 anchor points, release the mouse button, then click and drag, you will notice you are now creating a curve. That is the biggest secret to the path tool. A bit of practice and it will be a breeze.

Once you have created the path, go to the paths palette and click, save path.

Now we want to load the path as a selection.
To do this just ctrl/cmd+click on the paths thumbnail

You now will have a selection around the area we are going to position the person.

Select the person in the 2nd image and choose "copy"

Select the hotrod image again and choose edit>paste into

You will notice a new layer is created with a layer mask around the window.

Press Ctrl/Cmd+T for free transform and scale and position your person to fit inside the window.

There all nicely positioned and sized in the window.

The only problem now is that it looks a bit fake because the window has a highlight and the person is opaque.

Lets create a highlight for the window. Load the path of the window shape
create a new layer
Fill with white

Now switch to screen mode and lower the opacity to 29%

Tree Style Text Effect

Start by typing your text.

Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.

From layer menu select layer style>>create layers. Merge both the layers. Select smudge tool from the main tool bar with the settings shown.

Drag the mouse over the edges of the alphabets to create random shaped roots.

Using smudge tool again create some helping roots surrounding the alphabet.

Using brush tool create some hanging lines with branches.

Press F5 to open brush settings. Select leaf brush from the custom brushes. Apply settings as shown.

Apply the brush over the alphabets and hanging lines in a new layer.

Repeat the steps for other alphabets.

n this tutorial, i'll show you how to make your text freezing cold. This tutorial will also show you how to use this ice text on any colored background..

	Start a new document 700x400px with blue HEX: #043A79 background.
	Switch over to the Channel's Pallete and create a new channel. (if the channel pallete is not visible, go to "Windows » Channels". While still in the channels pallete and with the new channel (Alpha 1) selected, select the Type Tool and type your text. Make it as big as possible.
Pixelate » Fragment Pixelate » Crystalize	Now duplicate this new text channel, to do this, drag the channel into the "create new channel" icon. This will not be Alpha 1 copy. Go to Filter » Pixelate » Fragment. Repeat this step for 3 times. Then go to Filter » pixelate » crystalize. Enter 6. (This depends on the size of your text. play around)
	Go to Select » Select All, then Edit » Copy Then go back to the layers pallete. Then Edit » Paste Then go to Image » Adjustments » Hue/Saturation. Match the following settings:
	Go to Image » Rotate Canvas » 90CW
	Go to Filter » Stylize » Wind Method: Wind Direction: From the right
	Go to image » Rotate Canvas » 90CCW
	Go back to the Channels Pallete. and click on the original text channel (Alpha 1) to select it. Then go to Filter » Blur » Guassian Blur. Enter: 8.0
	Go to Image » Adjustments » Levels Input Levels: [ 0 ] [ 0.15 ] [ 60 ] CTRL+Click on Alpha 1 (the original text channel) to make a selection around the text. Then go back to the Layer's Pallete
	Create a new layer. Press D and X on the keyboard to reset the colors back to default white and black. Go to Filter » Render » Clouds
	Go to Filter » Sketch » Chrome Set: Detail: 3 Smoothness: 3 You can play around with this to get different effects.
	Apply Inner Glow layer style to this chrome layer. (Blue used: #39C5FF )
	Change the blending mode of the chrome layer to overlay, and set the opacity to about 80% Now you are done, but what if we want to place our text on another color background? we cant, because it is already on a colored background. The following steps will show you how to overcome that.
	Go back to the Channels Pallete, CTRL click on Alpha 1 to select the original text channel, then go back to the layers pallete. Go to Select » Inverse, then hit delete to delete, then deselect.
	Go to Image » Rotate Canvas » 90CW. Go to Filter » Stylize » Wind. Method: Wind Direction: From the right
	Go to image » rotate Canvas » 90CCW.
	Now your ice text can be place on any colored background.

Apple's new high-end 27-inch iMacs--released late 2009--are the first all-in-one PCs to use Intel's latest Core i5 and Core i7 processors. We can tell you it was worth the wait.

Here we look at the 27-inch iMac with the built-to-order 2.8GHz Core i7 option, tested using Boot Camp and 64-bit Windows 7. Though pricey, this $2200 system (as of December 8, 2009) turned out to be the fastest all-in-one PC we've tested to date.

Core i7 features a technology Intel calls Turbo Boost. If an application isn’t using every available core, the cores that are idle shut off, and the active cores speed up. According to Apple, this allows the processor to run up to 20 percent faster under heavy workloads; that translates to 3.46GHz in this iMac.

No question about it: Lenovo's IdeaCentre A600 looks unique. The combination of a sharp and angular design, an ultrathin chassis, and a 21.5-inch display definitely stands out against the more traditional "one big flat panel" look that competing all-in-one desktops offer. And at $1149 (as of 7/2/09), the A600 is seriously competitive, especially since it's the most upgradable all-in-one PC we've seen.

The Lenovo's 2.13GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P7450 processor has one of the slower clock speeds for all-in-ones larger than 20 inches. Surprisingly, that doesn't have as big of an impact on overall performance as you would think when comparing it with, say, the 3.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 processor of the 24-inch Sony VAIO VGC-LV180J. As for its other main components, the Lenovo's 4GB of DDR3-1066 memory is a step above the DDR2-800 average in PCs of this class, while the 1TB hard drive is among the best you'll find in an all-in-one, matched here only by the 22-inch HP TouchSmart IQ500t and the 24-inch Apple iMac.

The A600's score of 87 in our WorldBench 6 test suite isn't the best we've seen, but it puts the machine in fine company. It ties the IQ500t and beats the 24-inch TouchSmart IQ816 (which scored an 81), but lands 28 percent shy of our all-in-one performance leader, Apple's 24-inch iMac (which earned a mark of 111). Given that the Apple system is nearly twice the price of the A600, however, that's not a bad showing at all.
